Rules

Any hair colour and eye colour is allowed. But please no rainbow hair or eyes.

No ridiculously tall OCs, something like 8ft tall OC is not allowed.

For background story, try to not go over multiple pages of length. This is mostly to help mods with judging apps faster and better! Plus when other members read about your oc, they will have an easier time to enjoy their story.

Everyone will start with 1 random starter given by mods
- You will be able to catch Pokémon once you are accepted into the group

Can my character have their own Pokémon prior to coming to the group?

Yes, but you cannot use them for battle. To allow everyone a fair base/ground, everyone starts with 1 starter and a handful of pokeball and 2 routes to catch Pokémon in.

But your character can have Pokémon in their history! You may also get their past Pokémon to be usable with specific items you can buy later.

Can my character be an experienced trainer already?

Yes but if they are an experienced trainer, the rule of one starter and a few pokeballs will still apply! So they may have gone through gym challenges outside the islands, but we will treat the island as a ‘starting ground’ type of teams of pokemon for battle.

What will my character’s starter be?

Starters will be given to reservations at random! So we will have a list of starters hidden, and you will roll a 3d20 to choose 3 starter groups, and then we will roll a number in secret to find your OC’s starter.

If you don’t make a reservation, your starter will be fully randomized by us when you submit your application and we will ask you to put that starter somewhere in your app: either in the visual or written app.

Does my character have to have a fulltime job and what jobs can they have?

- Your oc can be a fulltime trainer! So they don't have to have a job, but if they are fulltime trainers you'd have to expect they will be a little poorer than people with jobs (unless they have family riches, or they saved up previously, etc.)
- If your oc has a job, it can be any job that makes sense. The starting area has many jobs to offer, but remember that it is just a port town. Here's some examples of jobs that you can have for your character: Nurse joy, Nurse, Doctor, Poke Doctor, Streamer/content creator, Farmer, Fisher, Secretary, Shop clerk, Museum curator, Archeologist, Professor, Battle counselor (teaches people how to battle), Bartender, Architect, Artist, etc.

Basically if it's a sensible job, you can choose that. If you are unsure, you can ask in #questions !

Now that the more important questions are out of the way, to apply to the group, you must first go to #reservations and fill the form template provided in the channel pinned message.

After that we ask you to roll in #starter-rolls using the guide in the pinned message of that channel.

Once you finish the reservation and get a starter, fill the visual application seen above!

Art must be 100% yours.
Minimum app art requirement:
- Clean coloured fullbody
- Clean coloured headshot
You can add more than these two requirements, but this is the minimum

Drawing your starter is optional but encouraged, you can use the game's official art for the starters.

Written

Now for the written part of your app, please use the following template. This is necessary information! If you want to add more, you can, but this is the minimum information we require for your OC:

Name:
Age: (must be older than 18)
Gender: (Any gender is fine.)
Height: (ft + cm)
Weight: (lbs + kgs) [optional]
D.O.B: (Date of birth)

Starter: (given by mods on reservation, follow the guide in pinned in reservation)
Pokemon: (Link your current pokemon! remember to update it)

Hometown: (which region is your oc from? are they from the fen islands?)
Job: (your character’s job, they can also be a full time trainer, or be a university student if you don't want them to have a job)

Personality: (At least 3 positive and 3 negative. Traits + Description of traits)

Likes / Dislikes: (At least 4 for each)

Backstory: (Must be at least 1 paragraph long.)

Trivia: (Any extra information about your OC)

We also advise you to include some creator information! Like this:

Mun name: (what you want to be called)
Age: (can be 18+ or 21+, whatever you want to disclose, group or specifically)

Preferred RP style: (HC and/or script and/or lit, etc.)
Uncomfortable with: (tell people what you are not comfortable with rping: themes, triggers, etc.)
